This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. 

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa or MasterCard information available.

EACH PLAYER MUST REGISTER FIRST WITH USA HOCKEY AND SCAHA THEN RETURN TO THIS REGISTRATION SESSION TO SIGNUP FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON.

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number for the 2025-2026 Season.
• Step 2: CLICK HERE to go to SCAHA Registration and register your player(s) for the 2025-26 season. In the upper right corner of the page create or login to your account.  Please enter your USA Hockey Membership Number then you will be given an iSCAHA 2025-26 Season Pass # in order to participate in tryouts.
• Step 3:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code and SCAHA # that you received in Step 1 and 2.
• Step 4:  Click on the continue button below this section to complete Tryout Registration Form and make payment.
• Step 5: Attend tryouts at designated time.

• If you are a new player to SCAHA, or are foreign born, you must provide a copy of your government issued birth certificate and/or US Visa documents at time of tryout.
• Bring a light and dark numbered jersey to tryouts.
• Tryout fees are non-refundable and non-transferable so please make sure that you will attend before your register
• You will need to pre-register and pay online for each try-out session you attend.

THE TRYOUT PROCESS

• Check-in at the tryout table, present the required documentation (see above)
• Be ready to get on the ice at the designated time for your tryout
• Most tryouts will last about an hour.  
• After the tryout is over, please stay at the rink until the tryout results have been posted
• Tryout results will be posted on a board at the rink shortly after the completion of the tryout.  At that time, you will be instructed to do one of the following things:
  • Meet with the club representatives to sign up for the team
    • Players who have been selected for the team at the first tryout will be asked to return the following day for the second skate
    • Return to the next tryout for another look
      • Players who have been called back for another look will be asked to return the following day for the second tryout skate
  • You are excused to attend tryouts for other teams

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM CHOSEN FOR A TEAM?

• Immediately following the tryout, you will meet with the club representative at the area designated
• Both player and parent must be present for signing
• With help from a club representative, you will complete the Letter of Intent
• Financial arrangements for payment of registration and dues must be completed online within 24 hours of making the team
• Once you sign a Letter of Intent you may not tryout for any other team (exceptions: SCAHA players may also be on a High School team, girls may roster on both a girls team and boys team as long as it is not in conflict with league rules)

BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND RESIDENCY DOCUMENTS

If you are a new player to SCAHA/CAHA, or are foreign born, you MAY be asked to provide a copy of your government issued birth certificate and/or US Visa documents to the club Registrar.  If you make the team, the registrar will contact you for any documents that are required.

In addition to registering for USA Hockey and SCAHA. The state governing body, CAHA, implemented yearly Mandatory Anti-Bullying & lnclusivity Training for both parents and players. This is not required to participate in tryouts, but is required for players to be rostered to a team.

Parent Registration Instructions

1. Go to https://caha.respectgroupinc.com/
2. If you completed last season, you can use same log in info otherwise follow directions in 3,4,5
3. CLICK ON NEW USER
4. Create a UNIQUE username and & password
5. Create account by entering your name (not you players name), your DOB etc.
6. Select your role: PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ONLY THE PARENT BOX. This will not require you to enter a USAH Registration number if it does you clicked the wrong box.
7. Take course (after chapter 5 you will take a quiz, FYI there is a chapter 6) then you will receive a certificate with a number

Player Registration Instructions

1. https://caha.respectgroupinc.com/ The player will use the appropriate age level PLAYER Link
2. If you completed last season, you can use same log in info otherwise follow directions in 3,4,5
3. CLICK ON NEW USER
4. Create a UNIQUE username and ft password per each child (email address can still be parent's email)
5. Create an account under your players name (not the parents name) enter DOB, etc. Please make sure the player clicks on the PLAYER BOX ONLY. This will require you to enter the PLAYERS 2025/2026 Season USAH registration number.
6. Enter the parents adult certificate number so player may access training.
7. Player will take course (after chapter 5 you will take quiz, FYI there is a chapter 6) then the player will receive certificate
